Established in 1998 simply as an under-18′s nightclub called ‘Bounce’, today Urban Junction is a centre offering all kinds of daily activities for the community.

The team of staff at Urban-Junction consist of 2 full-time staff, and another 1 part-time staff member.

I’ve been working in Urban Junction since 2001 so just into my tenth year which is a bit scary!

This Year…

Each year i don’t know what will happen in Urban Junction and each year i am amazed at how God works through the place and the people. I love working with different people from different places so looking forward to another year of that.

Belinda

Hi, I’m Belinda.

I’m 26 and I’ve been working in UJ since 2007. My job is mostly organising activities for adults, the mentoring programming and I’m usually the one answering the phone! I started out coming to bounce a long time ago and just never really left. I love it here, especially having a cuppa with my OAPs (!) and going to Ignite!

About Me

I hail from Richhill, Co. Armagh. I came down to Dublin in September 2003 for a gap year before college and basically never went home. I have studied Youth and Community work in Liberties College, Dublin and am currently in the Irish Bible Institute doing a course in Applied Theology.
